Top Ten Scary Games for Halloween
The leaves have changed and the nasty heat from this past summer has finally subsided, so that means that we are approaching Halloween. The time for copious amounts of candy, stomachaches and horror movie marathons on cable is nigh at hand. For those of us who want to get into the mood for this Halloween with some truly terrifying games, here are a few of my personal favorites:

 

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Drawing upon post-modernist concepts of story-telling and using devices to cause the player to question their own sanity, Eternal Darkness is an engaging and frightening quest. You don’t play Eternal Darkness, it plays you.
Manhunt
One of the most controversial games of all time is a worthy time investment if you’re looking for a thrilling and terribly violent game this Halloween.
F.E.A.R.
A game with a great sense of atmosphere, a great story, and tons of action, F.E.A.R. is a great example of a truly immersive game, and a frightening one at that.
