We've all been there: you're taking down that last Big Daddy in BioShock when you feel that evil eye cast down on your shoulder and pause the game to look up into the bored and annoyed face of your significant other. A common pitfall that many gamers may face while dating a person that isn’t a gamer. Try telling them the plot intricacies of the latest Final Fantasy game or about the ridiculously difficult final boss in Heavenly Sword and you’re likely to get a sigh, a shrug, and a subject change. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. You can turn gaming into an experience that you can share with your girlfriend (or boyfriend), regardless of their gaming experience. Here’s a list of ten games that are easy to get into and smashingly fun for couples:

 

WarioWare: Smooth Moves
Going from swinging your hips in an invisible hula-hoop to answering a fake phone in less than two seconds is a great way to cut loose.
Wii Sports
This diverse collection has been famously getting everyone from three-year-olds to grandmas into gaming, and offers up a great time every time.
Tetris DS
The puzzle game that put the genre on the mainstream map, Tetris still has a huge fan base decades after its release. The DS version of the popular puzzler is the best iteration in years, combining great mini-games and old-school charm that anyone would appreciate.

I pretty much agree with that list...Crash Bandicoot was always a fun one for all ages and genders even though its old.
