Top 10 Comic Book Games
With heroes like Batman, Iron Man, and the Hulk currently tearing it up in the box office, films based on comics and graphic novels are in the midst of a renaissance of sorts. While an awesome film adaptation is not usually indicative of a great game (Batman Begins, anyone?) there are still some games out there that not only successfully put you in the shoes of your favorite hero, but make sure you have a pretty fun time doing it. Here’s a look at some great comic adaptations:

 

X-Men: Legends
Taking on the X-Men team can be a daunting task, but X-Men Legends handles it smashingly, with deep action RPG elements and a great faithfulness to the subject matter.
The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction
Ultimate Destruction has you doing what the green giant does best (wanton carnage) and is an absolute blast to play.
Freedom Force
Another game that isn’t based in a particular comic book universe, Freedom Force was a fantastic homage to the golden age of comics, as well as a deep and engaging action-RPG.
