Bill Romanowski Featured on the Cover of Next-Gen Blitz: The League

Next Generation Edition of the Million-Unit Seller Delivers the Award–Winning Entertainment From the Original Plus Much More to the Xbox 360 and PSP

Midway Games Inc., a leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, today announced that 4–time Super Bowl champion, Bill Romanowski, will join Hall of Famer, Lawrence Taylor, as co–cover athlete of Blitz®: The League™ for the XBOX 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and of Blitz®: The League Overtime for the PSP™ (Sony PlayStation® Portable). Along with contributing his image for the game's packaging, Bill Romanowski will also be featured as the voice and personality of one of the League's most hated linebackers, Bruno Batagglia. Bruno is the franchise player for the Baltimore Bearcats and plays a significant role in the game's storyline which occurs both on and off–the–field.

Blitz: The League is scheduled to ship for the XBOX 360™ in October 2006 and Blitz: The League Overtime for the PSP™ is expected to ship in November 2006. Blitz: The League is currently available for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft.
